Practicing since 2003
I specialize in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and hospitalist medicine and have extensive experience treating coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
My work is guided by the Hawaiian philosophy of “live pono” — living with balance, integrity, and respect for the community. I’m deeply committed to the communities I serve, and I take an individualized, patient-centered approach to care. My goal is to improve the quality of life for our community and empower patients to participate in their care.
The heart influences every system in the body, making cardiology central to all areas of medicine. I wanted to devote my career to a specialty where the need is high and the care can truly change lives.
I love cooking, making sushi, hiking, and spending time with family. I am also very active in supporting my daughter’s athletic activities, including volleyball, water polo, and swimming.
